Signed Memorandum of Understanding with Alat Free Economic Zone from Azerbaijan
During the visit of the delegation from Azerbaijan to the Free Zone Pirot on April 12, 2022, Mr. Valeh Alasgarov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ALAT Free Economic Zone and Zoran Petrovic, CEO of the Free Zone Pirot signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of connecting, exchanging knowledge and best practices, encouraging cooperation between free zones and the private sector.
The meeting in Pirot was preceded by a meeting of representatives of the Free Economic Zone ALAT and the Free Zone Pirot in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Belgrade, on April 11, 2022, where, in the presence of N. E. g. Kamil Khasijev - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Serbia and his associates, representatives of the Free Zones Administration, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia and the Associations of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, both free zones were presented and a visit to the Free Zone Pirot was agreed.
