At the business forum held on February 1, 2024, in NTP Niš, Japanese companies operating in Serbia, as well as domestic companies operating in the Nišava, Pirot and Toplica administrative districts, were presented.
Japan is the world's third largest economy, and a leading nation in technology, robotics, automotive and mechanical engineering, electronics and medical research. Japanese companies are seen as one of the most desirable employers and through their projects over 7,000 jobs have been created in Serbia. Some of the Japanese companies operate in the Free Zones of Serbia and significantly contribute to the transfer of technology and raising the level of professionalism.
To the representatives of the Japanese delegation, the Ambassador of Japan in Serbia, H.E. Mr. Imamura Akira and the representatives of the Japanese Business Alliance in Serbia, were presented incentives for doing business in the Free Zone Pirot, as well as opportunities for partnership between Japanese and companies operating in the Free Zone Pirot.
"We continue with activities to connect Japanese companies with companies from the Free Zone Pirot " - said Vladimir Ilić, executive director of the Free Zone Pirot.
