Free Zone Pirot is an infrastructurally built unit equipped to attract foreign investments and provide transport services.
It started operating back in 1998, according to the Decision of the Federal Government from August 8, 1996. at the location of the industrial zone of Pirot on a total area of 17ha.
Today, Free Zone Pirot covers 140ha and includes "greenfield" and "brownfield" locations.
In the regime of the Free Zone Pirot, there are 67 trade and 19 production companies, including large, medium and small companies that employ 6,000 workers.
The users of the Free Zone Pirot are legal entities and natural persons, who perform all legally permitted activities within the zone, under special conditions and benefits.
