At the invitation of representatives of the World Free Zone Organisation at the celebration of the 10th anniversary, the Certificate of appretiation was awarded to Free Zone Pirot for the promotion of the mission and the contribution to improvement of free zones at the national and international level. It is a great honor for us to be part of the World Free Zone Organization and to receive this prestigious recognition for our work so far, said Vladimir Ilić, CEO, Free Zone Pirot.
At this largest and most important congress of free zones held in Dubai, which gathered a large number of participants, the Certificate of Appreciation was awarded by H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, president of the World FZO. Among the participants were also Mr. Gerhard Schröder, former chancellor of Germany, Mr. Manuel Tovar Rivera, minister of foreign affairs of Costa Rica, Mr. Jim Hagemann Snabe, chairman of Siemens.
Together with Jasmina Štambuk, director of Administration of Free Zones of Serbia, Mr. Vladimir Ilić attended the ministerial meeting as well. Numerous B2B meetings were held and made contacts with representatives of free zones, present govermental bodies and companies with the aim of establishing stronger cooperation.
We had the opportunity to see the greatest achievements and trends of free zones and to hear about the future of logistics chains, technologies in the field of finance, the future of energy, production, digitalization, artificial intelligence, initiatives to improve cooperation between companies through free zones, aded Mr. Vladimir Ilić.
