Support to the city of Trebinje in establishing a free zone
At the Meeting on open issues related to the organization and operation of free zones, held on March 15, 2022. in the City Administration of Trebinje, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Free Zone Pirot was presented as a successful example whose model can be used for establishment of Free Zone in Trebinje, the first free zone in Republika Srpska.
In addition to the presentation of the Free Zone Pirot, exchange of positive experiences from the practice of business zones, the meeting also discussed open issues related to the operation of free zones in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the possibility of amending legislation to additionally improve their work.
The meeting was attended by Stasa Kosarac, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Vjekoslav Petricevic, Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of Republika Srpska, Zlatan Vujanovic, Minister of the Federal Ministry of Trade, Mirko Curic, Mayor of Trebinje, representatives of free zones and companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina and their associates.
