The economic and trade conference Serbia - China was held in Belgrade on June 25, 2025, with the presence of numerous businessmen and officials from the People's Republic of China, with a special focus on cooperation with the province of Jiangsu. Within the conference, business meetings of domestic companies with Chinese partners were organized, with the aim of improving bilateral relations and opening new business opportunities.
The conference is a key platform for further economic connection and strengthening of cooperation between Serbia and the province of Jiangsu, with the exchange of experiences, presentation of potential and identification of common interests.
This important event was also attended by representatives of the Free Zone Pirot. The director of the Free Zone Pirot, Vladimir Ilić, pointed out that such meetings are of great importance for the promotion of the Free Zone Pirot and the establishment of contacts with potential investors from China.
"Connecting with the Chinese market and businessmen from one of the most developed Chinese provinces, such as Jiangsu, opens up opportunities for new investments, production and logistics arrangements," Ilić said.
It is expected that the contacts made will contribute to concrete forms of cooperation in the coming period, with the continuation of activities to attract investments and improve international economic connections.
