The business gathering entitled "GLOBAL BUSINESS EXECUTIVE RETREAT 2021" was held on the mountain Jahorina, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the period from 1 to 4 July 2021, within the panel "FREE ZONES - Creating a basis for attracting investors ", The Free Zone Pirot was presented as a successful example.
The panel was attended by: Staša Košarac, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoë Harries, Senior Advisor for FDI and Special Economic Zones and Project Director of the World Organization for Free Zones, Branimir Muidža, President of the Council of Foreign Investors in BiH, Mahir Selimović , director, Free Zone HOLC, BiH, Mirko Ćurić, Mayor of Trebinje and Vladan Stojanović, project associate of the Free Zone Pirot.
The conference brought together 100 business participants from more than 20 countries (West Africa, Gulf countries, European Union countries, Turkey, China and the Balkans), representatives of the private and public sectors, representatives of the international community, organizations and business associations.
After the panel, by the invitation of Minister Košarac, a meeting was held at which a visit to the Free Zone Pirot of the Ministers of Trade of BiH, the Economy of the Government of the Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH was announced.
